ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) proceeded on Friday fourth draw invoices issued via point of sale (POS) and winners announced.
According to the computerized ballot, the exceptional prize of Rs 1,000,000 was awarded to Muhammad Ali on the invoice issued by Carefour.

The FBR announced the winners of two second prizes of Rs 500,000 each to Syed Tahir Ali Rizvi on the bill issued by Shan Super Market and Hussain Raza Bhatti on the bill issued by Jalal Sons.
Likewise, the four winners of the third prize of an amount of Rs250,000 each are Abdul Waheed Shaikh, Mishal Zohaib, Sher Allam Khan and Mansoor Mehmood.
The FBR performs a computerized poll of invoices issued by level 1 retailers every 15 days of the month. This was the fourth draw since it began on January 15, 2022.

The FBR encouraged people to actively participate in the ballot to win prizes after buying from integrated retailers at the point of sale.
The FBR has previously published a procedure for participating in the award program.
The tax authority said customers of Tier 1 integrated retailers, whose names and CNICs are notified by computerized lottery, will be entitled to prizes for their purchases from Tier 1 integrated retailers.

Customers should check the electronically generated invoice from integrated retailers either through the “tax asaan” app or by texting the number 9966.
The app will notify the customer of the status of the invoice, either as “verified” or “unverified”.
In the case of a verified invoice, the customer must provide once, the following details to the online system, namely:- Name; CNI; and mobile number.
Customer names and CNICs will be included in the computerized draw once the requirement is met.

In the event of an unverified invoice, the customer must report it via the system. The Council must investigate and take appropriate action under the relevant provisions of the law.
The computerized drawing of prizes will take place the first week of each month at the headquarters of the FBR and the invoices of the immediately preceding month will be entered in the drawing of lots.
Sweepstakes winners will be required to complete biometric verification, at the nearest NADRA e-sahulat facility and submit a scanned copy on the “tax assan” app. After successful biometric verification, winners will be required to provide their IBAN through a “tax asaan” application.
The total amount of the prizes and the denomination of the prizes will be decided on a monthly basis by the Board of Directors.
