In the first round, all entrants will be required to take part in the Google Online Challenge – this will be a coding challenge that will assess online entrants in the areas of coding and puzzles. The GOC will take place on March 19, 2022. The results of the GOC and groups advancing to the next level of competition will be announced on March 24, 2022.

The second round will consist of a technology theme/challenge (i.e. “The Future of Learning” this year) which will require innovative solutions. If you have progressed from the GOC round, you will receive a sample design document with the theme. Keep the copy of this document and use it to build your pitch. The document will be shared on March 24, 2022; the result of the day will be published. The design document submission window will close on April 7, 2022 and the result will be announced on April 13, 2022 with a guideline for the final round of the hackathon.

The final round will be a virtual hackathon where teams present their final solutions to a panel of judges present before them.
